My niece's 20 year old boyfriend, Chris, spent a few afternoons in the garage with me while I worked on my CT's. He helped where he could but got motivated to do more. I found him a pair of '84 CT110's for $275, in pretty rough condition. He stripped them both down and started back up with a freshly powder coated frame. He ordered online new rims and spokes, trusting me when I told him spoking and trueing a wheel were doable. A bunch more parts online and a bunch more parts powder coated, both red and black, and the bike's starting to take shape.

He's had the chromed bits re-chromed and they are looking good.

The engine is next, his biggest challenge.

I warned him that his bike was going to be too nice to want to use it out in the hills on the jeep trails. He thinks he'll be OK with some scratches come by honestly.
