I thought I'd post this for Lee Pearl, host of the SoCal CT Tech Days...
If you can make it, it's almost a "life changing experience", for a CT'er, that is.
It may seem a little early to start the Tech Day hype but April is just around the corner and I need to start planning Tech Day 2009.

For those new members
the event is in Southern California one weekend
in April. We need to pick a date that works for most participants and doesnt conflict with other events....It is a full weekend with Friday pre party,
Saturday Tech Day and Sunday ride. Last year we did a local ride and the prior year Joshua Tree National Park.
Here are the things you need to know for Tech Day. It is fun. Some people come a long way to attend. If
you need a hotel.....Sunnymead Blvd in Moreno Valley is about a mile away. There is a pizza party on Friday.....no host donation. Saturday morning starts early. At my house the yard is large and there are multiple activities at
the same time. It is Honda Ct overload.
Mel, Ross, David, Don and other famous Honda people teach Tech sessions. I always try to plan a secret
surprise session. There is usually a group tune with Ross and Mel wandering and helping multiple bikes at the same time. We do a traditional ride to In and
Out Burger for lunch. After lunch we have more sessions.
And did I mention our DRATV......Jack sponsored the event the last five years!!!!!!!!!!!! He sent a wapping
$1,700 worth of new parts. Ross, Jay,Tim and Desert Todd and many others add to the raffle to make it really nice. There is also a junkpile with free stuff
from the attendees. You bring things you don't need for the pile.
There is a display area where I have my NOS carb collection and Ross brings his disassebled engine display.
There is also a "for sale" bike area too. If you are looking for a Honda there are usually deals in the for sale area. That is a sneak preview of
Tech Day 2009. I have a seperate email list of attendees so give me your email address if you plan to attend. That is it for the first Tech Day email of
the year for Tech Day 2009.......Lee the party planner
You can contact Lee to get on his Tech Day email list (this is how he sends out directions to his place).
He also likes to know about how many CT'ers will show up, so he can arrange street parking with his neighbors.
So send Lee an email that you want to attend and get on his email list.
As the date has not yet been set, if you have a preference, let him know.
Brendon doesn't want it on April 19 & 20 because of VJLA's annual Death Valley ride.
