Hello All.
I just bought a nice (looking) '86 CT110. Unfortunately, it does not seem to shift very well, especially on downshifts. I adjusted the clutch and changed the oil but it's still not right. It seems to start and run well otherwise.
So after reading various threads here, I suspect it's most likely (hopefully) the shift drum stopper arm which seems to be a fairly common problem. I'm gathering some parts before I dissassemble everything so I can fix it quickly if that is the problem. The one thing I'm not sure if I need is the clutch removal tool. I have an old Honda clutch removal tool that I used many years ago on a '75 Honda 750. I'm not sure if this is what I need for the CT110 or not.
The tool I have looks about right and the outside diameter is 32mm. I don't think it's an official Honda tool so I can't really check the part number. Does anyone here have a clutch removal tool that you can measure and tell me the outside diameter? Does anyone here know a good source for the proper tool?
Thanks to all!
