Clever !One of my old BMW Motos came to me with a Coors beer can patch on the right muffler , I left it there for well over 10 years riding until one day the back 1/3 of the muffler fell off whist my Son was out riding it with his GF .-Natecurtbrott wrote:I was missing the last 8" on the outside of my exhaust. The baffel was exposed. All of the rest of the exhaust was in awesome shape. I went to the conveinience store and looked for aluminum cans that would cover my exhaust. The perfect can was a can of RockStar. Bought the beverage drank it(bad idea caused intestinal issues) and then proceeded to cutting the bottom off. Took some muffler putty and smeared it on the inside and then slid it over the exhaust pipe. The can fit perfect with the baffel lining up exactly with the hole in the top of the can. Used 2 hose clamps to attach to the exhaust pipe and the covered it all with aluminum tape that you would use on venting. Looks great and solved the exhaust issue for less than $10.
