I'm going to be getting a service manual as soon as I get my next paycheck (this coming Monday) but we're trying to figure out how to get this bike up and running now and are a bit stumped. The plug, which is an NGK D8HA that came with the bike (and I've got a new one on the way), keeps getting fouled every time we get the bike running causing the bike to stall until we clean it again. (The bike won't start easily but I'm hoping to have the new spark plugs and RS rectifier installed which should help a bit with the possible intermittent spark.) The Dude is determined however to get the carb ready for the electrical despite my telling him that's the last thing to worry about (based on what I've read here; he's a carb guy, 'nuf said), and we're wondering what the stock float height is on the '71 CT90? He's tried adjusting it himself but can't seem to get it right so want to get it back to stock then go from there.
