So today was the first day that I've had my 1981 CT110 street legal, and of course today my engine had some kind of malfunction. First I ran out of gas and had to push the bike to the gas station, fun fun, it started right up and rode over to my friends house. after letting the bike sit for about an hour and a half we decided to go for a ride, I go to kick the bike on and nothing.......so we check spark, it's good, check fuel its good, scratch my head and think a little bit, now im wondering WTF is going on here. Upon inspection I noticed one of the 2 screws that holds the choke valve butterfly inside the carb had come loose and must have gone threw threw the engine. i pulled off the front cover on the head and notice that the cam isn't turning, slowly i turn it by hand and hear a pop noise. now one side of the head is cockeyed and im in a river of !++$. I bought the carb from a guy on Ebay that some people on here recommended. I need help, I know nothing of these little motors and need some advice on repairing it. How much does it cost to rebuild these little suckers and does a big bore kit really help out that much? Id like to have more power to haul my ass around.
I didnt have a chance to take pictures cause I was at my friends house but will try to get over there this week and take some pics.
Thanks in advance.
Elliot
