Hi,
I'm a boastful and proud owner of a 2009 CT110.
The only problem with the bike is something I'm hopeless at - the electrics.
The bike is a 6v system, opposed to the 12 volt ex postie bike system in Australia, so it should be similar to most of your bikes. I notice it has a rectifier under the downtube, instead of near the battery like I've seen on some of your pictures.
The Problem:
When I'm riding and giving it throttle, the indicators flicker quite quickly but they're visible.
When I depress the brake, and the rear light lights up, they turn off, and the brake light flashes.
When I'm idling, they flicker dimly, but if I depress the brake, they turn off. Difficult to turn on an inclined red-light :P
Edit: Also, another note. The neutral light doesn't illuminate when it's in neutral, and the key is turned "on".
Edit: Also, the horn sounds like a mouse complaining of a headache.
I checked the bulbs, and the rear indicators were 12v8w, so I replaced them with the 6v8w equivalent and there was a slight improvement. I'm not sure if that was mental, but my riding buddy confirmed that, but the problem still remains.
The headlight is -okay- and is very visible at night, but the indicators are a large worry. Is it possible the battery is shite? Maybe it's not charging correctly? Maybe something is draining too much power in the bike? I would have thought, at 4000rpm, the bike should have enough power to light several bikes.
Apart from that, the bike's running tip top. I'll take photos of it today and post em. It's a gorgeous machine when brand new, I can tell you now!
