The Green Machine had a sticky front brake. It wouldn't completely disengage after brake application. I pulled the front wheel off and before working on the brakes I reversed the three bolts holding the mudflap to gain a little clearance. Then, I removed the brake springs and pads and drove the brake pivot actuator - or whatever it's called - out of the assembly. Everything got a coat of Simple Green and a good soak. Then I removed everything for the assembly and polished bits with steel wool. The contact points received a bit of a polish with some fine sand paper. I'm out of white lithium grease so I used some synthetic high temp/pressure grease lightly on all contact points and reassembled. I'd done this to the back wheel and have no idea why I didn't do it to the front other than laziness.

MIJI - My advice?  I don't even follow it.
