Busy day today for the CT110:

-Replaced the front tire with a new Golden Boy and IRC tube. Old tube was also an IRC and looked good. Rime was a bit rusty from sitting for a few years befor pe I got the CT. It was a shame that the Postiebike tires on it are starting to rot. They looked almost new.

-Replaced generic brake lever that wasn't operating the brake light switch properly. Probably didn't need a new switch after all.

-Tuned the carb but it's still not right... It has the infamous bomps when blipping the throttle. I think I will pull it tomorrow and give it a good cleaning.

I got a nice ride in and have great power if I roll the throttle on gently. Stopped to get a new spark plug, then gassed up. After gas, it wouldn't kick over at all. The kick-starter felt pretty free, so once I got it running, got home and did a clutch adjustment. The kickstart still feels pretty loose, but when it does kick over, it doesn't feel like there is any more resistance. I remembered I haven't checked the valves, so I'll do the valves, new plugs and carb tomorrow. Hopefully the clutches aren't going... The disks aren't bad, but it's a bummer that I need $40+ in tools to replace $25 clutch disks (clutch nut, strap wrench, JIS screwdrivers to open the case and then hope the gasket is salvageable)

Crossing my fingers that the stating issues are valves/carb.
