I wasn't going to do anything until Spring but I couldn't help myself. I installed the new chrome, rear shocks, cleaned the carb, charged the battery and replaced the right side case bolts with stainless hex heads. Oh yeah and as I was digging around in my old parts bin I found a brand new headlight replacement set I didn't know I had. Whoo, hoo! The original headlamp is burned out and DrAtv sells a non DOT approved setup that has a $3 replaceable bulb rather than the old solid glass one that sells for around $45. I think that was about it. No riding until I get the muffler back. I gave it to a friend who does welding. I has a hole in it about the size of a small apple. I'll sand blast it and put some black paint on it next week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I don't want to pay $200 for a new one. Don't forget to keep those batteries charged up!!! Nothing harder on a battery than letting it run down and sit all winter.
