Ok so I am running with the after market switch.  So I got that all hooked up- pretty easy once you guys said it was after market- but I dont get a spark when I kick start it.  When I flip the switch to ON though I got quite a shock when I was touching the coil wire (copper wires inside of the black tubing).  However, when I grounded the wire on the cylnder head, I did not get any kind of spark when I kick started it.  Also the lights didnt work.

1.  Is my battery not propperly grounded?
2.  Could my points be bad?
3.  Is my ingition coil wire bad?  I think this is less likely since I get that shock when I turn the switch on, while the wire is grounded on the head I get that spark, but not when I kick start.

I am leaning more towards my points being bad and needing to replace them esp since the bike has been sitting for quite some years.  But at least I am making somekind of progress seeing how I get some kind of current now.
