One thing I didn't mention is if you break off the "easy out" in the hole (been there, done that) then you are in a real pickle! When using the "easy out" keep this method in the back of your mind as a fall back and stop when the bolt just doesn't seem to want to come. It's almost impossible to remove the broken extractor end and being hardened steel you then can't just drill it out. Only option then is to use an Oxy torch to carefully heat the broken extractor to cherry red then let cool slowly . This should anneal it enough to be able to drill it out and use method #2.
