Justin, thank you for your helpful information on handling the broken bolt I will follow your proceedure.

On the Apple Cider Vinegars sub tank cleaning. I looked at several YouTube post on cleaning gas tanks with rust. One video was a test using rusted steel bar to test two commercial rust removal products and white Vinegar and Apple Cider Vinegar. The Vinegars where the best at removing rust with the apple cider Vinegar being the best. I used white vinegar first then I used Apple Cidar Vinegar( four treatments with the bottle brushing). Baking soda in water was used as a neutralizer. One needs to immediately dry the tank after the baking soda neutralizing as you will get a thin coat of flash rust if it sits long. WD40 was used and suggested to seal the inside as it is a water Displacement product. Another suggestion was to mix gas with 2 stroke oil and fill the can and let it sit in the tank to prevent rusting. I'm using the oil and gas in full tank method.
