This is a bit of a long story. Bear with me.

Two weeks ago on Sunday afternoon, I got a flat rear tire on the CT.....about 15 miles from home.
Called my wife to come get me with the pickup truck.
Turns out, I had left the interior light on in the truck and battery wouldn't start the truck.
She had to get out the battery charger and do the boost routine to get the truck running.
Eventually she showed up and we put the bike in the truck.
Now, this is the fifth time she's had to come pick me and the bike up over the last
couple of years. On the way home, she said to me jokingly, "Our relationship is going
to end over that damned bike!".  LOL!!!!
So I get home and I don't have a spare tube. I get right on the computer and order a
new tire and tube from Amazon.  Two day delivery, they say. Great.
FIVE days later, the tire and tube show up!
I put the new tire on, then remove the tube from the box.
They sent me the WRONG TUBE.  It's a TEN inch tube instead of a 17 inch!
Two phone calls later, they agree to rectify their mistake and I put the box
out for UPS to pickup and return.
I'm getting annoyed at having no bike, so I buy a patch kit from the
local auto parts store.
I patch the tube. It still leaks. (damn)
I pull it off and patch it again. Seems to be holding air. Great.
Put the tire back on the bike and head out for a ride with a buddy
on his scooter. By the time we get home, the tire is getting soft again.
(Double damn!)
I'm getting to be an expert at taking that rear wheel off.
Now Amazon won't send another tube 'til they get the wrong one back.
Which means I have another week's wait with no tire.
So I order one from Bike Bandit.
It still takes several days to get THAT tube.
Meanwhile, a friend orders me ANOTHER tube from the nearest Honda
shop, 20 miles from here.  Finally, Saturday, almost two weeks after the
flat tire, the Bike Bandit tube and the Honda shop tube show up at the
same time.
I install one and all is well.  Just about then I get an email from Amazon
that I'll have a THIRD tube arriving this week!
I'm gonna be awash in tire tubes!!!
At least I'll have spares now.
Went out for a nice long ride Sunday morning.
The bike ran well. The tire held air.  FINALLY!!!
Whew!!!
