I've been working on a 64 CT200 for several months now. I've had the motor apart for a reseal, hone the cylinder, and lap the valves. Today I got the motor back in, stuck in a new battery, dumped in some gas and gave it one kick... IT STARTED!! I was so excited. I was like a 8 year old that just got a new bike for Christmas. I was grinning from ear to ear and just had share my excitement with someone so I went in the house to tell my wife my fantastic news. After telling her she just look at me, smiles, and says "that's nice". You talk about a buzz kill. Oh well.

I still have a long way to go on the bike. I didn't have an exhaust on the bike so I only ran it for 20 seconds but I was blown away that a 50 year old bike that hasn't run in several years started on the first kick. whoo hoo!
