I put a new coil on the red 90 today and added an extra ground from coil to battery. That made a huge difference! I had been chasing a miss and hard starting that followed from carb to carb. After the spark wire got burned on the exhaust it was never right again. Of course I trimmed it but no avail.
I also put on the exhaust guard that wraps around the uturn in the pipe. I had to drill and cut and cut again to get them off of the old pipe then had to murder out the rest of the screws and reassemble with new oem hardware. But it is back on and looking right.
I swapped the ignition nut back to oem so I could put the frame cover back on.
I reconnected the front brake light switch that I had to fake during inspection. Front brake light? Ok let me distract you while I hit the back brake and try to make it look like front brake.
The show this Sun. features drive-thru judging so I guess I won't take the parts bike. And I can't rev the 110 very much or it won't settle back down. Might be a good place to unload some problems.

So to wit, everyone go drop 10 Hamiltons on a new Honda coil assy. It will cure whatever ails thee. I'm going to do it again right now.
