Contact me offline and I'll email you directly some docs I have that will help you out.
If you do some searching you'll find a lot has been written about doing the swaps.
I think the 1980 is a perfect platform for the swap because it lacks the dual speed tranny.
A lot depends on how much you want to change out and not jury rig.
Your 1985 ATC125 engine is also a good one to use. It has the same shift pattern as the CT110 does. The 1984 ATC125 engine is different.
All the electrical for your swap will be 12volt. DrATC has the bulbs, horn, headlight, blinker, etc., you'll need.
If you want to change out the handle bar switches you can get them on ebay. You don't NEED to change either switch. I do it because I want the starter button integrated into the switch and I like to add the left hand brake. But you can us the starter button off the ATC if you want - you'll just need to find somewhere to mount it.
You are going to need to stripe the bike all the way down and the way I do the wiring harness is I use the harness from the ATC125 for all the engine related electrical and the harness from the CT110 for all the lighting. I strip out any wiring related to the engine from the CT harness. And I strip out taillight and headlight wiring from the ATC125 harness. Leave the wiring in the ATC125 harness that relates to the neutral light otherwise your engine won't start.
