I was in WA last week and installed the new (used) wheel on my northern CT. Refreshing story for you, I brought the old wheel down to AZ last winter because 4 spokes broke. Purchased a used wheel for proper year on eBay and installed bearings, tube and tire. I had a new battery to install (dry charged unit) in the garage BUT during a burglary some a*shole stole it... Why steal a battery for a CT??? Not many uses any more. PLUS my trickle charger was stolen as well. I had disconnected the old battery in anticipation of replacing it this spring but did not remove it and it was still there. Figured it was most likely "toast" and with no charger... Anyway I topped up the fluid and installed the battery leads and switched on the key. Mind you this battery had sat from about August to May of this year. Neutral light came on BRIGHT and bike started on the 2nd kick... Dang CT's are amazing. Guess I will get a third year out of this battery after all!!! Radio Shack rectifier scores again!!!
