I rode the neighborhood enjoying the sunny warm weather. Ole' Yella started on the second kick idled well and rode well. I always feel like ridding, along with being a pleasure, is also very good for the motor as it circulates lubricant to all moving parts. I make it a practice in my 1971 6v to turn the head light off when starting so the maximum available electricity can be directed to spark. I don't know if that help but it just seems to me that in the 6v system electricity is a precious resource needing conservation. After a rainy period here in Oregon the sunny bright warm days draw me outside to ride.
I'm looking forward to riding at Alvord Lake.
