Yah I have used Rotella in bikes for 10s of thousands of miles including the ct110.
FYI the new carb did nothing to start the yellow 90 but I guess it did sputter more than usual. It still has big blue crackling spark, the valves may have been a twick loose but sure not tight, it gets fuel, new air filter, timing plate is at the same spot as the red 90, carb adjusted same as red 90, new Yuasa batt. I have done the same stuff to two bikes only 1189 serial numbers apart, the one that looks like junk runs like a top. I rode it again today. The one that looks near new won't run for anything.
So I will start swapping carbs around and see what I can see. If nothing else I can part out the yellow 90. You think I'm pissed yet?

Try flipping your advancer unit 180 degrees. You'll get spark regardless of its position, but potentially not at the right time. Also visit your local auto parts store and borrow their compression tester. Any big store like Oreilly's, Autozone, NAPA should have one they'll lend you, you just have to leave a deposit with them. What carb is it by the way?

Sorry if I'm repeating anything you already know, have tried, or have been told to try. I don't remember all the details from each post about each of your bikes. haha
