Unless you replace the cam chain , getting the 'o' makr to line up perfectly is almost never going to happen , glad you found the trouble and are now enjoying it .

FWIW , the stretched cam chain retards the cam timing more than you'd think so replacing it also crisps up the whole power band and throttle response .

Yeah it looks as if I need a new chain. Gonna replace the valve seals while I have it apart.

Edit: Does anyone have the links to the chain and valve seals? I looked on the good DR's site but wasn't sure what was the proper parts for my CT90.
