Truly I wasn't going to ask but you sorta forced me there......  =8-) .

If you're going to clamp it in place , be sure to drill a tiny hole and use a screw cross wise so it won't slip out and be lost .

That's a good idea, will have to do that to ensure that it doesn't go walkabout on me. Eyes

While cleaning the bike (it was down to the individual nuts bolts 'n parts at this point) with the pressure washer I noticed some mud dobber nests in the back of the pipe. Not knowing how far back in there they got I decided to clear it out with the pressure washer. So I aimed the wand into the pipe (head side) and pulled the trigger. Well the plastic collar had long since been missing and without my noticing the quick connect coupler at the end of the wand some how worked back and stayed there with the help of some sand. So when that trigger let loose with 3300psi of water that tip took off like a rocket and went just where I'd pointed it. Straight into the exhaust pipe. Now it's in there and can't be convinced to come back out.

On that note, does anyone have the link to the page on here that shows a cut-a-way view of these mufflers? My search efforts have yielded bupkis.
