I eagerly await both photos and ride report on the new piston & cylinder ~  .

I did a marathon on my CT90K2 , John Pardue's excellent wiring diagrams helped out as did his clear and simple advice onhow to figure out which coil was which on my alternator ~ it turnsa out there's a booster circuit in there for the headlight and the three leads were all black so I didn't know which was which .

I got that sorted out in about three minutes and Lo ! no more sputtering at any speed / RPM / load .

I foolishly re - installed the Dr ATV Chinese headlight then took a 2 - 1/2 hour hard ride up the Angeles Crest Highway pretty much throttle pinned the whole time , the bike never skipped a beat and I topped 50 MPH a few times going down hill .

Went home & to bed happy , got up@ 04:00 and headed out again for coffee & Wi-Fi , of course just past the 1/2 way point to the Coffee House the ding-dang headlight bulb FELL OUT OF THE SOCKET leaving me to ride on in the dark , no much fun and incredibly unsafe to boot .

I made it sans tickets or collisions and drank coffee and did Tech Writing until the sun came up , rode home and re installed the 40 year old Stanley seal beam with only high beam still working ,  rode it around town doing errands , going to the Dr.s etc. all day with the headlight on high beam , it ran fine , headlight nice and bright , I can't wait for my new Japanese Stanley seal beam to arrive .

I'm *so* pleased to have it running fine again that I broke out the ' Nev-R-Dull ' polish and polished up some of the chrome , I think I'll try to wash and polish the whole Moto soon .
