OK, so after a long hiatus, I have returned (again, but now with a five month old son! :D )! Thus far, I've discovered that 1/4" air line is not a good substitute for fuel line. The Autozone guy sold it to me over a year ago, and it split some time recently. I didn't notice until I filled the tank up last week and went to check it again today and the line was split and no fuel to be found. Now I've got 5/16" line and we are good to go. I've fiddled with the carb I dunno how many times. For those that might remember, at Tech Day '12 we took a carb from DrAtv and that mostly fixed the problem. Now it appears the bowl or carb has warped, as we took it apart, cleaned, cleaned, cleaned and cleaned some more, and even put a small amount of RTV on the O-ring between the carb halves. Still a leak between them. I give up on it. I'm going to have to buy another PZ19 and try to solve the problem. As currently it just idles way to freaking high. No matter what you do, it just revs full blast. So, new carb, some form of air filter (maybe one for a craftsman mower?), new headlight bucket, turn signals, points, mirrors, tail lens, cables, oil change and I think that will about do it.

All this just to get my lil' '69 running good.
