Absolutely!  I don't think today's tires would hold up as well.  The old ones were crackly and crispy when I pulled them off...definitely time to replace.

In other news, I went down to the DMV this morning and had no trouble getting the old title transferred to my name.  My '76 is now titled and permanently registered for street and off-road riding.  Woo hoo!  The old 1986 Montana motorcycle plate can finally be removed and replaced.
