My primary motor was running poorly after Moab trip, lack of power, some blue smoke. I finally got around to switching to my backup motor (c'mon I'm not going to stop riding). Took the head off the primary motor after digging through the red dust. Lots of carbon on the piston dome and valve tops and the top piston ring was cracked in half. I changed oil after Moab but it was still black as coal. Oh and the jug to head oil seals were brittle, seems I may have got the motor a little warm going up those switchbacks in Utah. Sent an order off to DRATV.
