Why do you want to know this information?
I am trying to sort out the differences between CT110s by year and model, and determine what works with what. If a given frame has extra holes tapped, nuts welded on, et cetera, a guy might need to butcher his original frame to retrofit the later parts. Some of us see this as a bad thing.

Based on Partzilla research, it looks like you could build an engine with points or CDI using any year engine case, and retrofit 82 up rotor and stator to an 80 or 81. cobble up a frankenbike from bits and pieces, or do a roadside repair using parts from that junk bike behind the gas station in Bumfrog, Utah. Rebuild an '80 with a sub trans using 80 percent '80 parts. You have to know which parts from later bikes you need to do this, which 80 parts you can reuse.

Only one person needs to determine what interchanges with what. If that person documents what he finds, nobody else has to.
