What I haven't done to my CT or Lifan 200 over the last few months is clean, oil, or adjust the chains. I'm now a total convert to the convenience of O-ring chains. Will never buy another non O-ring chain.

Probably doesn't apply to our little bikes but over on the KLR forums they advocate cleaning chain with a rag and WD-40.  In other words just wiping your O-ring chain with a WD-40 soaked rag.  Cleans off the dust/dirt and doesn't damage the o-rings. Some of the guys over there swear they get 20-30K on the stock chains... Considering the horsepower difference we might NEVER have to replace a chain on our CT's!!!  LOL
