Was having charging problems with my CT200 so I installed the Radio Shack bridge rectifier upgrade. using my Volt/Ohm meter in the process discovered a lot of old bad oxidized connectors that were causing high resistance and even one partial short due to tight wiring where dried out connecter covers exposed wiring. After installing the new bridge rectifier, crimping in wire extensions for more slack and new connectors for better continuity, everything works much better. On these old bikes old oxidized connections and shorts where old dried connector sleeves have exposed wiring, grounds, shorts and partially open circuits  can really cause problems, but can be fixed without having to replace the entire harness if the rest of the insulated wires are otherwise in good shape. Any connector that is not clear but looks like a tan dead roach should be replaced.

As a 30 year retired Warrant Gunner God has blessed me with a 1965 CT200 and 1984 CT110, both of which run well and cost me only $1275 for both.
