I was checking the output of the stator on a 110. Had the R/W wire on the rectifier unplugged and neglected to unplug the Y wire for the head light. As soon as I revved the engine a little it blew the neutral, tail, and head light. Luckily the head light has the replaceable bulb in it.
 Proves that the battery really is a voltage regulator.
