Thanks now I know where to look and I will look as soon as I get my hands on a new correct gasket. I can already tell they did not use the right gasket and probubly over-sealed becasue they used "form-a-gasket" as I can see it oozed out along the outside edges before curing. This morning I decided to start my CT200 without the dip stick cover and I was able to place my thumb over the hole and easily hold back any pressure waves. I then recapped the dip-stick and placed my hand over the sprocket and could feel crankcase pressure coming out, so behined or in the vicinity of the sprocket the shaft seal may have popped out again on one side or that plugged vent-hole relented and cleared out. In any case its running much better today and after tweaking the small carburetor screw another 1/4 turn richer for a total of 1 and 3/4 turn out, it is now holding its own both in advancing RPM and 4th gear up slight hills, much closer in performance to my CT110, albeit only 3/4 the power. Also yesterday after putting the bike away as I was contemplating disassembling the carburetor I discovered the 4 top screws were all loose and took a full 1/2 turn on each screw to get snug and 3/4 turn to get tight. So the carburetor is now also working far better without having yet dissembled it. It performed so much better this morning after I took it for numerous lap around the neighborhood circle rout with slops and hills, all which ended 1/2 mile from my house as I ran out of gas having forgotten I had the fuel valve on reserve. I tried an old dirt-bike trick and put the choke on and 1/4 throttled it all the way home in 4th using the last down hill slop to gain momentum, my neighbors wondering why I blew into the culdesak in such a hurry lol.

As a 30 year retired Warrant Gunner God has blessed me with a 1965 CT200 and 1984 CT110, both of which run well and cost me only $1275 for both.
