It's ALIVE!!!! Another 1984 CT-110 will remain on the road!

Replaced:
Battery
Tires
Tubes
Instrument cluster
Oil
Gas
Stop/Run switch

Rebuilt
Carburetor

Used the battery charger method to remove the rust scale from the gas tank. It was simple and effective but needed frequent attention to clean the sacrificial anode (large coil of iron binding wire). Flushed out the gunk and dried under a fan overnight (low humidity here). Also used the battery charger method to clean up the lower portion of the exhaust system and some of the chrome heat guards which had rust on the underside.

Remaining to do:
Replace chain and both sprockets
Adjust valves
Transfer title.
Verify functionality of the charging and light systems
Replace all light bulbs
Weld the rear blinker stems where they are breaking away from the housing
Repair or replace muffler due to rot hole on bottom side near the exit.

Will keep an eye on the inside of the gas tank to watch for rust, if it appears again then I'll pull, degrease, battery charge derust, then line the inside of the tank.

Thank you to all who have posted information on this forum, you provided all the keys to getting it running again.
