I just joined this forum today, and thought this would be a good place for my first post.

So far this week I charged the battery and started my '71 CT90 after it was sitting all winter.  Then I removed the exhaust and painted it with some black BBQ grill paint.  I also used 2000-grit and wet-sanded and polished the heatshields with Mother's chrome polish.

I added new screws and washers to the  front mudflap and painted the rear mudflap with SEM trim paint.

I used 2000-grit and wet-sanded and polished the rims with Mother's.  I also checked the tire pressure in the original Yokohama's.

I used 2000-grit and wet-sanded the skidplate, bars, stem, kick starter, and rear rack.  I then polished everything with more Mother's.

Finally, I tightened, cleaned and lubed the chain.  Then sanded and painted the kickstand and main stand with more SEM trim paint.

Should be good for another summer of riding. thumbs up
