Yeah, I've been going thorugh a real special time, pushing Honda-cidal now, trying to figure out a 110 carb. First [after a lot of exasperation] I discovered the jets had been replaced with huge oversize, for racing. Fine, got a replacement carb off Ebay. 'Hey, how come this blasted thing STILL won't dial in???!!'

Well, it could be due to the prior owner, another go-faster racy guy, BORING OUT ALL THE STOCK JETS!!! Man, talk about a hair puller...

So I need to either rejet [yes] or temporarily try to balance the rest of the carb to an over-rich condition coming off pilot/idle jet: meaning ignoring factory settings, just as you say, Bernard!

Unfortunately it's waaaaayy off stoich, plus I'm at 5,000' elevation, a no-go for these reamed jets.
