Scott, I guess when setting your carb you have been working "by the book".  For the moment, close the 
book and try this. Warm the motor up, stop. Screw the air bleed right in (gently) and make a note of 
its current setting so that you can return there if this suggestion fails. Now screw the air bleed out 
five full turns, that's 5 turns ... don't open that book, just do it
Start her up and adjust idle speed if necessary. 

Check for hesitation on acceleration.

I have two 110's that will not idle or accelerate smoothly at low revs when their air bleed screws 
are set within the recommended range. Both are beaut runners with about five turns out on the air bleed.
