I agree with both of you 100%, to me the logic is sound, I shouldnt get that much fuel out the bottom if the top is shut off, I ordered another needle and seat to replace the brand new one that is installed as well as another new rubber seal for the petcock, to replace the brand new one there, somethings not right, I feel like I have checked and double checked, the bike runs fantastic, even with the leak!
Gonna try again today, reset the float so the bowl doesnt fill all the way, flip the rubber seal over, look at the seat again....this one has me stumped!

It has to be the petcock , maybe the sealing surface of the handle is worn to much and its not getting a tight seal against the rubber, even though the spring is new and when I screw things together there seems to be plenty of pressure, heck, I even put screws with bigger heads on them to spread out the pressure on the seal better.

Has to be the petcock, I pinched off the fuel lines last night with a couple hemostats and no leak...no fuel no leak

I like things to work as intended, but maybe a pair of inline fuel shut offs buried in the frame?
