Long distance:
Spare HD tube or 2, rim strips, top quality patch kit, extra patches glue, valve stem tool & valve stems, plus a tire boot or 2. Boots are a large heavy patch that's glued inside tire itself for bad sidewall gash. 6 ply tires you're already ahead of that game, with ex-heavy duty tubes. There's super trick large cartridge CO2 inflators that also work as hand pump in a pinch & for adjusting pressures as you go, to save CO2's. Fix flats as you go, save spare tubes & boots for real serious gash. Motion Pro long levers are good. Dry bar soap lubes tire or rim for mounting. A few spare spokes & spoke wrench. Top quality chain breaker for # 428, length of chain & spare links.

Sawed off wrenches: 10, 12, 13, 14, 16 & 17mm [duplicates 10, 12 & 14] with piece of steel tubing to use as handle & leverage, may also fit tire levers. Plug wrench. Klein 6" needle nose & Channel-Lock 420 pliers. Maybe a 1/4" drive ratchet, 6" & 4" extension, needed sizes of sockets. Valve screw adjust wrench [7 or 8 mm?] & spare adjuster screws. Impact driver & 16 oz ball pein: remove wood handle, weld in short steel tube stub that also fits tightly in or on wrench extension handle, drill both & R-clip pin to secure hammer head stub.

Spare plugs, points & condenser, spare coil & plug lead [Emgo are fine]. Small cheap GB Voltmeter [hardware store item]. Electrical connectors, Klein small stripper/crimp tool, roll of 14-16ga electrical wire, DPDT & SPST toggle switches, Scotch 33+ electrical tape [finest in the world], couple of lengths heat shrink. Spare carb gaskets, float & needle, jets for altitude, spare throttle cable. High temp Silicone, only used for absolute emergency, sheet of gasket material, razor sharp pen knife or Exacto knife.

Larger 3-C Mag-Lite, 2-AA size Mini-Maglite, maybe headband light & spare bulbs & batteries. Parachute cord [paracord], tie wire, Panduit zip ties [there is a difference]. Good sheath knife like KaBar, Gerber or whatever.
