Not only would you have to drill a hole for the throttle cable but you would have to cut a slot for the throttle slider which is under the grip. You could of course replace the weird throttle assembly with a standard type and run the cable on the outside.Qladyeclectic wrote:A silly question: if one were to change out the handlebars on an older CT would you need to drill holes to run the throttle cable inside the bars (like my stocker 71) or can you run it from the outside like other motorcycles?
