Ah, a clarification.

The 1981, CT110 is a points based ignition system with a half wave rectifier or in other words... a single diode. The half wave rectifier is easily upgraded to the newer Radio Shack full wave, 4 diode bridge rectifier, however it will only use half of it, thus still a half wave rectifier. It's a weak battery charging system, just like the 1980, CT110 without the dual range sub transmission which disquallifies both of them from my stable.

Oh, and I also prefer my 1983, CT110.

Paved roads, just more needless government spending...
